We have acquired 70 per cent of the shares in USEEDS° GmbH. The Berlin-based consulting firm specialises in the design of digital services and products, with the aim of delivering an optimum brand experience and high customer satisfaction. The remaining shares continue to be held by the founder and CEO, Ron Hofer. The clients served by the digital customer experience studio include leading companies such as eBay, Zurich Versicherung, mobile.de and Consorsbank.
Digital transformation is driving the rapid convergence of marketing and e-business departments within companies. SYZYGY's stake in USEEDS° will enable it to expand its portfolio as a leading agency group for digital marketing by adding new complementary services around the customer experience. This is significant because the customer experience is regarded as critical for the future. As products become increasingly interchangeable, the customer experience opens up opportunities for companies to stand out from the crowd through new digital services and products.
USEEDS° was established in 2008 by Ron Hofer and now has 50 employees. The product designer previously worked in Milan in his own design studio and at Siemens Medical. While at Munich-based Siemens he was already working on designing outstanding solutions for customers and companies by applying user-centred product development techniques.
